Karen DiFilippo Peirson, 48, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Friday, June 2, 2006 at Christiana Hospital in Newark.
Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of Attilio DiFilippo and the late Rosemarie Leo.
She was a member of St. John the Beloved Church in Wilmington, DE.
A graduate of Clarion University, she earned a degree in education.
Karen was employed by Brandywine Trust Company in Hockessin, DE, and previously at Wilmington Trust.
She enjoyed photography and was an avid reader.
In addition to her father, Karen is survived by her aunt and uncle, Mary and Robert Hopkins of Avondale and many cousins.
A Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, June 8, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 300 State Road, West Grove, PA 19390. Family and friends may call from 10-11 AM on Thursday at the church.
Interment will be in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Kennett Square, PA.
